With all the talk/media hysteria about immigration in the past few weeks, I did this illustration to consider some of the positives behind immigration. Without getting too much into the arguments, everybody seems to have dwelled on the poorest-paid job sectors in this “debate”, but there are also great opportunities for graduates to get into professional careers.

A while back I did a commission for Square Meal magazine, for an article recommending haunted venues to visit in London.
I’ve been looking forward to sharing this; it was a blast to work on and made a nice change from the usual businesspeople! Many thanks to AD Meg Georgeson for this assignment!

I’ve been trying my hand at a bit of editorial design. Admittedly I’m pretty much self-taught, and anything I do know about this kind of work has been gleaned from books and magazines. It’s something I’d love to get into alongside illustration - tinkering around with layouts suits me down to a T!
